MEET THE TEAM
A proud Saint John local, Andrew has been running his business here for over 33 years, which means he’s been in the game longer than some of his employees have been alive (don’t remind him). He’s also deeply involved in local charities, but you’ll never catch him hogging the mic — he’s the guy making sure things actually get done behind the scenes.
Outside of work, Andrew is either dominating the pickleball court with a competitive streak that would scare a pro athlete… or unwinding with a glass of aged amber rum in his backyard, where the only deadlines are how fast the ice melts.
Okay fine, here’s the extended version:
Shannon has been ruling the office manager kingdom for over 9 years, graciously guiding clients through the magical land of print and design. Whether it’s business cards, banners, or turning vehicles into mobile masterpieces, she’s your go-to guru.
From the first “Hi, I need a thing” to the glorious moment of “Wow, it’s done!”—and of course, her personal favorite, “Here’s your invoice!”—Shannon makes the journey smooth, stress-free, and occasionally filled with dad jokes. Probably more than occasionally.
At this point, Steve is basically part of the office décor — except the décor doesn’t have an unhealthy obsession with color palettes or a sixth sense for bad kerning. Give him a vague request like “make it pop,” and he’ll somehow turn it into something actually brilliant (probably while muttering under his breath). Most of his designs are born from staring into the creative abyss… and by “abyss,” we mean his third cup of coffee.
Cynthia is the financial wizard behind the curtain at Signs Plus—making sure the numbers behave, the payroll is on point, and that no decimal dares wander out of place. If it involves digits, dollars, or documents, Cynthia’s already ten steps ahead of it (probably with a color-coded spreadsheet).
When she’s not taming rogue receipts, Cynthia is running a small zoo at home—otherwise known as her four kids—and managing a feathered flock of backyard chickens with the precision of a barnyard CEO. She’s also been known to treat coffee like a second job, which is probably how she does all this without spontaneously combusting.
In short: Cynthia keeps the books balanced, the eggs collected, and the caffeine flowing. Signs Plus wouldn’t run nearly as smoothly—or hilariously—without her.
He thrives under pressure, solves problems like a puzzle master, and has an eye for detail so sharp it could slice vinyl (if it weren’t already pre-cut). Always chasing his own high score, Denis gets genuinely excited at the chance to wrap something totally weird and new—so if you have a helicopter, fridge, or pet llama that needs wrapping, he’s your guy.
He’s the guy who makes sure your sign doesn’t just look good on screen—but actually shows up, stands tall, and survives the weather like a champ. Around the shop, we just call him “The Sign Whisperer.”
